Notes from the band

Thanks to all who made us feel welcome at the two dances we played over the holiday weekend. We were up at Mobridge on July 2 and spent July 3 back in more familiar territory, at Woonsocket.

We had a blast at both places -- even though we arrived back home from Mobridge shortly before 7 a.m. Saturday morning.

It's important to note that while in Mobridge, we were hired to play the rodeo dance at Isabel, Aug. 7. Isabel is up in that same neck of the woods and we're hoping to see some of the same people when we get back up there.

We're not a country band by any means, but we always have fun at rodeo dances. The folks at Mobridge (where the local rodeo was under way) showed us once again that rodeo fans always dance and always have a good time.
