Signal 21 is a three-piece rock band from Mitchell, S.D., that includes music veterans who have been playing for years.
The band was born when two members of the former Jimmy River Band brought in a new lead guitarist and added a new sound man, then completely revamped their song list, upgraded their equipment and decided to bring a more modern approach to their rock show.
Signal 21's show is heavily influenced by bands like Weezer, Van Halen and Green Day, with a mix of Kid Rock, Prince and Jet sprinkled throughout.
Armed with a song list that samples heavily from the 1980s, 1990s and today, Signal 21 may soon be bringing its show to a bar, festival or a street dance near you.
